ILIAS KASIDIARIS POLITICAL PRISONER HELLAS (GREECE)
In 2012 Mr. Ilias Kasidiaris was elected MP with the party Golden Dawn (XA), the party won almost 7% of the popular vote. Mr Kasidiaris went right away to work making methodical interventions in the parliament and revealing major scandals of who had embezzled public money as well as other illegal acts conducted by the two ruling parties New Democracy (ND) and Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) in the last 40 years. The governing party of New Democracy (ND) in 2013 under the leadership of then Prime Minister Antonis Samaras alarmed by these revelations and his party's dwindling numbers at the polls decided to take action and hatched an elaborate plot to strip the Golden Dawn MP's of they're seats in the Parliament and to bring criminal charges against Golden Dawn falsely labeling the political party as a criminal organization. The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras in a telephone conversation with close friend and Head Prosecutor Mr. Isidoros Dogiakos ordered him to imprison the next three Golden Dawn MP's (Mr. George Germenis, Mr. Panagiotis Iliopoulos and Mr. Stathis Boukouras) that were to appear in court, the three MP's were jailed immediately. (The conversation between Prime Minister Samaras and Head Prosecutor Isidoros Dogiakos was caught on audio where Samaras in a derogatory manner tells Dogiakos what to do about the three MP's that were scheduled to appeared in court) Shortly afterwards Mr. Ilias Kasidiaris was also imprisoned on the charge of aiding and abetting a criminal organization but was set free on conditional release with restrictions only after a few months. In 2014 after the European elections which made Golden Dawn the third place party with almost 10% of the popular vote Mr. Ilias Kasidiaris was once again sentenced to prison this time on the charge of weapons possession, the weapon Mr. Kasidiaris had was a legal hunting rifle with a permit which he used for hunting in his free time. After a year of imprisonment he was acquitted and the specific charges were dropped. At the time the Greek media which is directly controlled by the government went on an unprecedented process of presenting false evidence and falsified photographic material which they quickly retracted after the truth was established. The Greek state never formally apologized or compensated Mr. Kasidiaris for his suffering, mental anguish and character assasination. Simultaneously since 2013 the trial of Golden Dawn as a criminal organization had begun with many schemes and legal delays attributed politically to the Greek government (New Democracy) holding the MP's of Golden Dawn essentially hostage. In December of 2019 however the Prosecutor of the case Mrs. Adamantia Oikonomou after an 8 hour hearing proposed that all Golden Dawn defendants be acquited except one ( Mr. George Roupakias). Shortly afterwards in 2020 Mr. Ilias Kasidiaris decided to leave Golden Dawn and form his own party National Party Greeks for the Homeland which within a few months reached 3% in polling and support for this new party was steadily rising. The new Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis ( New Democracy) alarmed by the growing popularity of National Party Greeks for the Homeland pressured the court (judges in Greece are appointed directly by the government) to find all Golden Dawn defendants including Mr. Kasidiaris guilty, the judiciary fully subservient to the executive carried out this decision on the 7th of October 2020. A large mob of Left-leaning Marxists and Anarchists had gathered outside of the court to put added pressure on the judges to carry out this abhorrent and unjust ruling. Mr Ilias Kasidiaris was immediately transferred to one of the worst prisons in the world (as it became known in a recent Netflix documentary) Domokos Prison. The conditions of the prison were unacceptable but Mr. Kasidiaris was not deterred and continued his party's struggle as well as commentary/criticism on the happenings of Greece through the prison payphone, he also managed to write six books which were well received by the public and proved that support of the Greek people for Mr. Kasidiaris was still strong and unwavering. As time went on the polls were showing a continuous rise in popularity of Mr. Kasidiaris new party, from 5% even projecting that the percentage might well be in the double digits. The ruling party New Democracy once again intervened and Makis Voridis the Minister of Interior at the time made an amendment to the constitution that banned Mr. Kasidiaris as a party leader, this did not deter Mr. Kasidiaris and through a conference call on the prison payphone transferred leadership of the party to a seven member committee with completely democratic procedures. The Greek government then passed a shameful second amendment to the constitution which deprived Mr. Kasidiaris of his political rights even to run as a Member of Parliament in the next upcoming elections, undeterred even by this shameful amendment Mr. Kasidiaris managed to convince a former Prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Greece Mr. Anastasios Kanellopoulos to assume the Presidency of the Party then seeing this move the Minister of State George Gerapetritis intervened in the work of the justice system using his influence to ban the party outright. Mr. Christos Tzanerikos Vice President of the Supreme Court of Greece resigned in disgust after first revealing and publicly denouncing a bribery attempt on behalf of the government to ban Mr. Kasidiaris and his political party from all elections. In a country that respects the legal framework that governs it all those responsible for this criminal breach of duty would be brought to justice and jailed but in Greece on the contrary since Mr. Tzanerikos has gone missing and the "literally blind" and subservient justice system has never called upon Mr. Tzanerikos to give testimony on his bribery allegations. The government also continued persecuting Mr. Kasidiaris by banning him from communicating with anyone except his family and his lawyer Mrs. Vaso Pantazi, they also made they're hatred and fear of Mr. Kasidiaris evident when they forbade him from opposing or criticizing the government through the prison payphone essentially cutting off his communication with thousands of followers through media (Youtube) and other social networks. Due to so many amendments to the constitution and the abolishment of all legal logic the government managed to exclude Mr. Ilias Kasidiaris and his party from the first elections of 2023, in the repeat elections a month later Mr. Kasidiaris devised a clever plan and announced his public support for another political party named Spartiates (Spartans) within 15 days it managed to win 4.7% of the popular vote and became the fifth placed party in the Parliament. A party without offices, without any party presence in the media, without money or donors even without substitute MP's for each constituency astonishingly entered the Parliament only on the strength, support and unwavering trust of the common people in Ilias Kasidiaris. In the Municipal elections of 2013 Mr. Kasidiaris decided to run as a candidate for the mayoralty of the city of Athens with his political faction "Free Athenians" despite the fact that the government threatened publicly to strip Mr. Kasidiaris of his position if elected. Mr. Kasidiaris without any presence or communication succeeded in securing 8.5 % of the popular vote and electing two Municipal councilors, one Municipal council seat going to himself. The government and municipality once again intervened and stripped him of his seat not allowing him to attend any meetings of the Municipal council thus Mr. Kasidiaris formally resigned and allowed the next candidate of his political faction with the most votes to take his seat in the Municipal council. At this point we should emphasize that in February of 2023 (a period shortly before the first national elections) Mr. Ilias Kasidiaris had already completed 3/5 ( three-fifths) of his sentence and should have been already paroled according to the Greek rule of law, fast forward a year later and Mr. Kasidiaris has been denied parole twice with ridiculous excuses like the Golden Dawn trial has not concluded also bringing forth other ludicrous charges against Mr. Kasidiaris like using the slogan "Greece belongs to the Greeks" characterizing it as racist and hate rhetoric which once again Mr. Kasidiaris was acquitted in a court of law and all charges were dropped. From all the examples above it becomes crystal clear that the persecution of Mr. Kasidiaris is politically motivated. Mr Kasidiaris has only given to the Greek people and never harmed anyone, Mr. Kasidiaris only crime has been his fierce opposition to a corrupt and tyrannical political system that has been oppressing and stealing from the Greek people for decades. The same political system whose greedy self- interests have mortgaged Greece's assets to foreign institutions, that taxes the Greek people heavily to pay its creditors do to corruption and mismanagement, that cedes sovereign rights and national acquisitions to its regional rivals, that sacrifices morals, values and traditions at the altar of Western Woke culture and that brings in illegal migrants altering the social fabric of Greek society thus condemning future generations of Greeks in the process.
